Yes, I took the photo straight on. No, it didn't have a flat tire. Spotted at work which is why I'm far away.

Not sure PDR is going to fix that.

Everything rusts in Florida

The kids around here usually lift their Rangers. Maybe he's in the process...
We don't see much rust here in Florida so its kinda strange. It had an old Florida tag in the window so it's been here a while.

This dude's so cool, even his truck's perfected the gangsta lean.

I live in NW Florida and I believe it is a trend to buy the cheap unregistered cars that can't pass inspections due to rust, then register them down here. Plus, it's Florida. Most of it's resident's are from up north.

I don't know but GIS "pickup truck bed" led me to this delightful photo, courtesy of the Idaho Injury Law Blog (?!):

Ah, I think I have this one. Here in the rust belt, the rear leaf spring shackles on Rangers rust and break, leaving the leaf to be supported by the bed sheet metal. Eventually the spring would rub through the bed, dropping the truck all the way down to the robber stops. Looks like only one side rusted apart in this case. The tailgate is tweaked because the whole bed probably got tweaked by the spring.

it was just rather odd because it was Florida and the tag is an older Florida tag so its been down here a while.

thats the truth. Florida registers nearly anything with a motor and wheels!
This one was just odd since it was an older Florida tag which meant its been down here for a while now

Boat rig?

thats actually a good possibility. Just going in and out of the saltwater constantly could easily do that.

I have a theory. First time launching a boat, launch is into salt water, bed goes in, owner does the Floridian thing and says "Fuck it", doesn't wash it, and rust takes over.
